Terms of use

Last updated: November 2, 2026

These terms govern your use of the TwoIn app and its services. By creating an account, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use TwoIn. The app is published by [publisher or company name] (see the legal notice). The French version of these terms prevails in case of discrepancy.

1. The service

TwoIn lets two people form a Duo: each designs the other's wallpaper (photos, drawings, text, stickers), sends capsules to be opened later (text, photo or voice message) and finds the wallpapers they exchanged in a history. On Android, a received wallpaper can be applied to the phone's screen automatically; this can be turned off at any time in the settings.

TwoIn is free and has no ads. We may change, suspend or discontinue all or part of the service. If we shut it down for good, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance so you have time to export your data.

2. Your account

3. Duos

A Duo is created by invitation, and only if the other person accepts. What you create in a Duo is only visible to the other person in that Duo. Either person can leave a Duo at any time: the Duo is then deleted for both, along with its history and capsules. You can also block someone: they can no longer invite you, and your shared Duos are dissolved.

A wallpaper you send may appear directly on the other person's phone, including their lock screen, where people around them can see it. Only send what you would be comfortable seeing displayed that way.

4. What you share

You keep ownership of what you create and send (photos, drawings, text, voice messages). To run the service, you grant us a free, worldwide permission to host, copy, resize and deliver this content to the other person in your Duo, for as long as the service requires. This permission ends when the content is deleted (Duo left, account deleted). We do not use your content for any other purpose and we do not sell it.

You confirm that you have the right to share what you send: your own photos, or photos for which you have the consent of the people in them and of their author.

Animated stickers in the editor come from GIPHY and remain subject to the terms of GIPHY and their creators. They are offered for personal use in your creations.

5. What is not allowed

TwoIn has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You must not send or create with TwoIn:

You must also not disrupt the service: bypass its protections, access someone else's account, automate sending, collect other users' data or probe for vulnerabilities without our permission.

6. Reporting and blocking

In a Duo, the ⋮ menu lets you report the person or a specific wallpaper, block the person and leave the Duo. You can also email us at [contact email].

We review every report as quickly as possible, and within 24 hours at the latest. Depending on severity, we may remove content, dissolve a Duo, suspend or delete an account and, where the law requires it, share information with the authorities. Where possible, the person concerned is told about the decision and can contest it by emailing us.

7. Suspending and deleting accounts

We may suspend or delete an account that breaks these terms or the law, without notice in the case of a serious breach. Otherwise, we warn you first. You can stop using TwoIn and delete your account at any time.

8. Liability

We do our best to keep TwoIn working properly and securely, but the service is provided as is: outages, delayed notifications or data loss can happen. Automatic wallpaper changes depend on your phone and its battery-saving settings. Keep a copy of creations you care about (the history keeps the last 15 wallpapers per Duo).

Each user is responsible for the content they send. We do not review content before it is sent, but we act as soon as illegal content is reported to us. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it, in particular for gross negligence or personal injury.

9. Personal data

How we use your data is described in the privacy policy.

10. Changes

We may change these terms, for example when the app evolves. For significant changes, we will notify you in the app at least 15 days before they take effect. If you do not accept the new terms, you can delete your account.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. If there is a disagreement, please email us first at [contact email] and we will look for an amicable solution. Failing that, the dispute may be brought before the competent courts. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence and may go to the courts where you live.
